Training on NeoCor Bioprosthetic Implantation Techniques for Cardiac Surgery in Kemerovo 11.11.2024 14:00
From November 6–8, 2024, a series of training courses for cardiac surgeons, organized by NeoCor, was held at the Research Institute for Complex Issues of Cardiovascular Diseases (RICICVD) in Kemerovo.

November 6–7, 2024: Training on the implantation technique for the TiAra biological heart valve prosthesis.

November 7–8: Training on the Use of Xenopericardial Conduit in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery.
The courses aimed to train cardiovascular surgeons in the specific techniques for implanting biological prostheses. Participants included cardiac surgeons from leading clinics across Russia and Uzbekistan.
The training sessions were led by experienced cardiac surgeons from the RICICVD in Kemerovo. The program included lectures, live demonstration surgeries with participants observing in the operating room or via online broadcasts, case discussions, and hands-on workshops using porcine hearts, where participants independently implanted prostheses under the trainers’ guidance.
Participants also toured the RICICVD Experimental Medicine Department to learn about recent research and advancements in cardiovascular surgery and visited the Leonid S. Barbarash Museum.
