Cardiac Patch (Bovine Pericardium)
The patch is intended for use as a flexible material to design intracardiac patches in case of affected interatrial or interventricular septum, monoleaflets and valved conduits.
The patch has been used in clinical practice since 1993.

KemPeriplas-Neo Xenopericardial Patch is derived from bovine pericardium anterior segment and designed for cardiac surgery to be used as flexible material. The patch is intended for use as a surgical patch for septal defects repair and other types of intracardiac surgery, as well as valve cover, monoleaflet, right conduit and ascending aorta conduit manufacture.
Implant Performance
- Epoxy treated xenopericardium features enhanced flexibility, zepo porosity, it is easily penetrated and is not prone to suture-line cutting
- The patches provide excellent biological compatibility.
Additional Treatment
- Anticalcification treatment. Standard treatment performed if no treatment method was specified in the order.
