XLI International Conference "Future of Vascular Surgery" 15.06.2026 13:00From June 11 to 14, 2026, Kazan hosted the XLI International Conference "Future of Vascular Surgery" — the largest annual event in vascular surgery and angiology, held since 1985. The conference was organized by the Russian Society of Angiologists and Vascular Surgeons (RSAVS) with the support of leading medical institutions and professional communities.
NeoCor took part in the exhibition held as part of the conference. The company's booth featured medical devices for vascular surgery — the KemAngioprotez vascular xenograft and KemPeriplas-Neo xenopericardial patches.
The conference program was extensive and diverse. The first presentation was delivered by RSAVS President Yu.V. Belov, who reported on the state of vascular surgery in the Russian Federation in 2025, based on data provided by Russian clinics. Subsequent sessions covered a wide range of topics, including surgical interventions for thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms, the implementation of hybrid technologies, vascular access in hemodialysis, surgical treatment of combat arterial injuries in infected wounds, and many other pressing issues in vascular surgery.
In the session on vascular access for hemodialysis, A.A. Sadovsky from the Kuzbass Regional Clinical Hospital named after S.V. Belyaev (Kemerovo) presented a comparative analysis of the use of the KemAngioprotez xenograft versus the synthetic ePTFE graft (Venaflo II) for creating permanent vascular access, based on hospital and long-term follow-up data.
In the session "Traumatic Injuries of the Heart and Vessels in Peacetime and Wartime," Kirill Petrov from the Main Military Clinical Hospital named after Academician N.N. Burdenko (Moscow) presented a report on the outcomes of using the KemAngioprotez biological vascular graft in patients with gunshot wounds involving damage to major arteries at Level V of care.
