All-Russian Conference with International Participation "High Technologies for Public Health" 29.06.2026 12:00On June 25–26, 2026, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation "High Technologies for Public Health" was held at the Research Institute for Complex Issues of Cardiovascular Diseases (Kemerovo). The conference was dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences L. S. Barbarash. This large-scale event brought together leading specialists from Russia and foreign countries, including India, the United States, and Kazakhstan, serving as a platform for exchanging experience and discussing key trends in modern medicine.
The conference opened with a memorial lecture in honor of L. S. Barbarash, delivered by the Director of the Research Institute for Complex Issues of Cardiovascular Diseases, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Olga Barbarash.
As part of the symposium "Experience in the Use of Domestic Medical Devices for Bioprosthetics and Cardiac Surgery," Pavel Teplov, Head of the Pediatric Department at the Federal Center for Cardiovascular Surgery (Krasnoyarsk) and Chief Freelance Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgeon of the Siberian Federal District, presented a report on the experience of using the KemAngioprotez vascular xenograft in pediatric cardiac surgery. The session also featured a presentation by Alexey Sergeevich Vronsky, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Head of the Cardiac Surgery Department at the Clinical Cardiology Dispensary (Perm), a cardiovascular surgeon, on the topic: "Implantation of the TiAra Stentless Valve – How to Select the Ideal Patient."
The conference became a significant event for the professional community, bringing together generations of physicians around the ideas of Academician L. S. Barbarash.
